Door replacement Q

Hi there,

I've bought a 2nd Rav4! I now proudly own a 3 door and a 5 door.  My (new) 5 door came with some damage to the door.  My local breakers yard has a 2003 5 door.  My question is if the 2003 and 2005 models share the exact same door and I can replace mine with the one from the breakers yard?

The 2003 car will be a 4.2 (i.e. mark 2). The 2005 car could either be a late 4.2 - in which case the door will fit - or an early 4.3 in which case it won't. Is your new 2005 car a 4.2 or 4.3? If you post a picture someone will soon be able to tell ... 😉

More simply, from the front, do the two cars look identical?

Hi guys, thanks very much for the replies.  Yes both are mk 2's so it seems the doors are a direct fit.  Cheers!
