Fitting an aftermarket radio if you have the 24 or 28 pin connectors, it's pre wired

I replaced the radio with 59006. I want to connect the rear view camera, but the radio does not give power to the camera

What was the original radio in your car ? W53828 ?

The 59006 is the Toyota Touch, this come as just the display, and the display with the sat nav module (Toyota Touch and Go) the sat nav is its own module,

Sat Nav module

Is it the factory camera ? 16 pin connector ?

What was the original radio ?

It sounds like you need a reverse signal (12v when in reverse) on pin 2 of the 28 pin connector

so you have a B9008 (pic above is a B9010)

how have you wired the touch and go ? what diagrams are you using ?

It requires a 12v reverse signal on pin 2 of the 28 pin connector, camera output is 6v on the 24 pin connector*

I found the pin markings and plugged in the old cables with plugs from 59006. Everything works.
the camera is 86790-05020, there is a 16-pin connector on the radio

image.thumb.jpeg.21ca6c38475a1c39de1439414df431e9.jpeg that's how I reworked my cables. I also have a plug for the camera. but as I wrote earlier it does not give any tension

A few days ago I connected 12V on pin 2 of the 28-pin connector. Navigation in the hidden menu will show you when I'm in reverse.

Where is the wiring for the camera ? And do you have the 16 pin plug

did the plugs come with that radio or another car ?

right. got to the bottom of this, there are 3 different wiring setups for the Toyota touch in the avensis

if the radio come with the 16 pin plug the camera is wired to that NOT the 28 or 24 pin

7 - 6v - black

5 minutes ago, JAJSON said:

pin 7 should give 6v but nothing. This is the problem

6v only in reverse

reverse signal from the car is 12v when in reverse, on pin 2 (28 pin connector) the camera must also be connected
