Corolla Hybrid ATF Service Intervals

Good evening, everyone. I was just wondering when I should replace the ATF of my 2020 Corolla Hybrid (1.8) since Toyota recommend replacing it every 40,000 miles. I service my car at 9,000 mile intervals. So, is it good to change it at 36,000 miles or over the interval of 45,000 miles? If so, will it affect my transmission?

Do it at 36 or book it in for just 40k to be safe

Not sure if Toyota recommend atf change at all.
At 40000 miles it’s check only.
 I usually change mine at every 60-80k miles. Only the first change at 80k miles and 8 years the fluid was a bit darker but nothing too bad. After that the fluid comes out very slightly darker. Perhaps this transmissions can do without any oil change for a long time and miles. 👍

I change the ATF to ensure my transmission doesn't go bad. I want to play it safe 🙂
