I joined the owners club just over 6 months ago following my order for a Yaris Cross design model.  Since that time, I have enjoyed reading the forum topics and learning from members experiences and recommendations.  This is my first venture into the Toyota world having been a loyal customer to the VW/Audi/Skoda brands for over 30 years.  Like many others, I have been waiting a long time for my car to be delivered which will hopefully be sometime next month.  Looking at the  “Cross Delivery” sub forum it seems very hit and miss as to how accurate the delivery information has been over the last few months.  I can’t work out if Toyota is the main contributor or does the dealerships have any input, or is it a combination of both?  Apart from that, my experience with Toyota so far has been very positive and look forward to further engagement with this excellent forum.  I also look forward to any comments regarding this subject, especially from the more experienced contributors who may have a better all round knowledge of the Toyota set up.

Jimota, as far as delivery goes, I think Toyota rather than the dealer do the updates. If you do the data mining as detailed elsewhere in the forum you can dig out the car's movement production, transport, docks, Derby and forecast dates.  In my case these were not always available.  I found a delivery to final destination, which was my dealer, fir the 16th.  Not long after it jumped to the 9th.

I knew it had been delivered before my salesman.
