Charging power question.

Hi guys, just need to confirm few things and sorry for silly question. 
Charging bz with type 2 dc 11kw three phase charger will add 11kw or bz will only accept anything up to 7kw as is there is a limitami. with inbuild charger? This same with 150 ac? Theoretically if I will put on charge with 250kw charger will only charge up to 150? Yes.

Yes, you are limited by the onboard capabilities of the vehicle.

The final actual power draw is driven by three things

1. Output from the charge point 

2. Max input the car can accept

3. The charge curve

So at home on a single phase charge point the output is 7KW the max input is 11KW and the curve on AC is fairly flat so charge power is 7KW

At a DC charger with 250KW the car max is 150KW and the charge curve is either OK or shocking (depending on who you talk to) but you’re likely to only get 150KW for something like 20-30% of state of charge

Almost ... AFAIK the initial bZ4X offering comes with a 6.6kW onboard AC charger - so you are limited to 6.6kW irrespective of whether you have a 7kW, 11kW or 22kW charger at home. Either way your next EV or the one after that may well have a more capable onboard charger so fit the 22kW version if you can.

The onboard DC charger is 150kW so you won't gain any further benefit from a 250kW or 350kW charger. With DC charging, 150kW is the maximum charge rate; the average charge rate will be closer to 100kW ...
