Check how much fuel is left in the Aygo?

Anyone know how to check exactly how much fuel is left? i have 2 bars but wanna know how much range is left.

Put a can of petrol in the boot and drive it until it starts to stutter.

Not sure re the two bars, but the tank capacity is 35 litres and the low fuel light will come on when there are around 5.25 litres of fuel remaining.

there is a mileage range - press the small button between the speedo and it tells you.
