hi there half thinking selling my 2014 toyota avensis and buy a toyota rav 4  a 2014 or a 2014 model the 4x4 model also not sure about the engine what to go for the 2.0 or the 2.2  but im not sure did toyota put the bmw engine in those also and what year do you guys think this would be a good but im just wondering is that the same engine in the rav 4 is the the toyota avensis the 2.2 and 2.0 toyota 1adftv engine

Up to November 2015, the diesel engines were Toyota's 1AD (2.0) and 2AD diesel engines.

From November 2015 for the 2016 model year, these were replaced by the BMW 2.0 diesel engine.
