Your Over the Speed Limit !!!

Hope someone can help me on this, regarding my 2014 Hybrid icon+. When I may slightly go over the speed limit or even under the limit and for some reason that part of the road has not been updated/changed, she comes on with "YOUR OVER THE SPEED LIMIT", which is fine and gives me a warning, but is there anyway to turn that volume down as I find it very loud to suddenly have her announce it. I have looked through all the menu's ( I don't have the digital speedo readout, just the normal analog one). I have even purchased the Carista OBD Adaptor & App but still can't find anything to turn it down or even off. I hope someone can help as she is getting like a "Back seat driver"😂😳. And yes I know about the safety side of things as I was in the Fire Service for 20 years and now retired. Thank you

Kev

You can alter this in settings I had a 2015 auris you can adjust the warning that she “says you are over the speed limit” it’s up to over by 10 mph over the speed limit ie: set the announcement to 35 mph if in a 30 mph limit I but I can’t remember how to do it, it will be in the manual.

I don’t think you can adjust the volume maybe try turning the volume down as soon as the announcement occurs. I know that you could turn the volume down when you had announcement’s when the sat nav was active via the steering wheel buttons.

You just might be able to turn the sound off and just have a visual indicator on

you can with some cars!.

The announcement is coming from the Sat Nav on your head unit select SETUP, GENERAL, VOLUME and lower the VOICE volume options

The only thing I have found is in the Sat Nav (which I never use), in the settings on the volume part, I have turned down by (1). not sure whether that will sort it, so will check tomorrow on the road !!
