Replacement (legal?) LED headlight bulbs

It would appear that legal (in Germany) H4 and H7 LED bulbs are available from Philips. I don't know if they'd be suitable for RHD. Anyone else heard about this?

My German isn't good enough to fully understand it all.

With projector headlight unit, the light will project fine as the led is a light source, cut off is in the headlight unit - projector lens. Though if the car did not come with led at factory then it's not legal to fit these for UK vehicles.

Fitting HID or LED bulbs to headlights designed for halogen is an MOT fail from March 21.

So if fitting LED bulbs, one would need to replace them with halogen for the MOT to avoid a fail.

Found some small print:

LED lamp must be replaced by a halogen
lamp for driving on the left.
