What’s the difference between “Members”,  “Established Members” and Registered members on the owners forum?

I'd be interested to know the difference too.

Not too sure myself, but I think it's based on the number of reactions to posts for the first two.

And a subscription basis linked to discounts with some retailers such as hellfrauds for the other one.

I'm sure someone who knows will be along soon.

Just noticed that there’s a gold membership category as well.

I've raised a query on this.

Additionally members earn a ranking and badges.

Rankings in ascending order are:

Does each level have a set amount of points between ranks. If so what are they.

Not really any difference between 'Member' and 'Registered Member'.

An 'Established Member' has exceeded a set number of posts and will see a reduction in the number of adverts they receive when logged into the Club, and increased storage.

As regards 'bronze member', think this may be a hangover from when the Club had three ratings, of which this is the lowest, for when members exceeded a set number of posts.

Going on from these, there is Premium Membership which is subscription based (currently choice of one or two years), and where one has a reduction in advertising, more storage, Halfords Discount Card, and access to a number of dealer and third party benefits. Membership should show as 'T.O.C Supporter'.

As regards the badges, most of these will be awarded when a particular milestone is reached - ie. Collaborator - awarded when your 10th post is made.

Think that's all there is to it.

Mike,

What's the points system for each level.

That I don't know, but it only really affects the Established Member level.

Thanks for the explanation Mike.  I was just curious about the different categories.  Cheers.
