Recently bought a purple iQ

Hello hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 59 plate Toyota iQ automatic, it is a 1.0l in purple. Just over 50k miles now.

I look forward to chatting to you fellow iQ owners.

I am enjoying it so far, I just need to figure out how to set the radio stations.

There should be a manual with the car to explain how to set the radio stations. Bit of a PIA, but once done you can forget...😉

I am actually trying to figure that out still. I can't see anything online and when I search the forum Yaris and Aygo models pop up.

Don't you just tune to the station you want then hold down the button you want to assign it to?

Although the attached owners manual is for the 2012 IQ, as far as I'm aware the audio system will be similar. Have a look.

 I bought a new IQ in 2010, then it was just over £12k which was a lot for a small car.

I chose it to take my mother places as it had massive opening doors and was easy for her to access and could also get her wheelchair in the back with the seats down 👍

She passed away in 2012 and I changed it for an MX-5 in 2013.

Two brilliant cars each putting a smile on my face 😄

I just bought one too! 2012 Red Automatic 60k miles with full Toyota service history. It’s my first car ever and I couldn’t be happier.

Have you made any mods or upgrades at all, Thomas?

( Apart from the exhaust I recall? )
