Hi Paul,

Take a look at Autodoc UK. They're based in Germany but I sourced difficult to get hold of part from them recently.

Be careful whenever you order parts and check and double-check you've got it narrowed down as much as possible (model, year/month, model code, engine code,  measurements etc.) From what I can see, assuming you have the 1ZZ engine and not the 2ZZ, then the carrier is:

47721-20440 (RH)

47722-20130 (LH)

Also fits the Corolla and Prius of similar vintage.

The equivalent for Celicas with 2ZZ engine or 1ZZ(!):

47721-20450 or 47721-20460 (RH)

47722-20140 or 47722-20150 (LH)

We have been burnt by exactly this experience and this very part with AutoDoc where they recommended the carrier for a 1.6 Corolla for a Corolla T-sport 1.8 (2ZZ) which shares the same carrier as the Celica. You can always visit your local Toyota dealer to get them to help you identify the correct part for your car.

Do you require a caliper carrier for the front or rear

For a 2004 Gen 7, the front calipers are identical irrespective of 140, or 190. Only the pre face-lift differs.

All Gen 7's have the same rear calipers.
