MY22 Connect Navigation route selection problem.

Ever since I have had my new Corolla I have found that it will not select the obvious shortest route to my regular destination on the East Coast. My MY19 Corolla always offered it, as does Google Maps. The only way I can select the route is to use the "Preferred Road" option and manually choose the actual road, which is a bit fiddly. I have the road type setting set to "All roads" so could not understand why the system couldn't find the obvious route.

Yesterday I think I may have discovered the reason. It did not select another regularly used shortcut which I noticed has a No HGV 7.5 tonne weight limit. I believe that its route selection is somehow using an HGV profile and not offering routes which have such a restriction. My route to the East Coast also has a short stretch of road with a 7.5 tonne weight limit.

Has anyone else experienced this and/or have any idea how to feed back to Toyota and get this changed in the Navigation software?

i`m not sure but i have found that mine sets a route that avoids road closures etc. much to my surprise having thought where the hell is it taking me only to find the expected road closed over night, thus the car took me around the closed road.
