2016 rear boot roof lining intermittent deluge - FIXED

Hi,

I have just managed to work out what is happening, so thought I'd post it incase it helps someone!

My car has been suffering this for a few months and I have gone around sealing up the rear screen washer and heated rear window tube wiring gaskets that are just above the apparent, with no effect.

What is happening, is that the outer boot lid structure is filling up (from the led brake panel) and then trickling/flowing down the INSIDE of the heated rear window cable tube/housing into the main roof void.

Was this due to the rubber around the break light deteriorating or a loose cover. Well done for finding the problem.👍
