2010 - AURIS (_E15_) 1.8 Hybrid 73kW (2ZR-FXE)

Need to get the car to a toyota dealership, without starting the engine.

I don't have the manual that came with the car.

We will have to tow the car.

I need help from fellow members on how to do this properly, safely & in the way the manufacturer directs.

<I don't want to start the engine (different post)>.

hybrids should not be flat towed, it needs to be recovered with the front wheels off the ground, i would not take a 12-year-old car to a main dealer,

what is the issue, i thought you had the cat replaced

That’s correct. Do not tow your hybrid with wheels on the ground. You need to have at least the driving wheels ( front) off the ground. To load the car or move pushing it you need to double press start button without pressing the brake pedal , then press brake pedal and push and hold gear lever toward passenger left side until you hear a beep and N neutral selected on the dashboard will illuminate in green , release handbrake and can push, load or whatever, then turn off the car. If you haven’t got AA RAC or similar, you can Google it and you will find car transport services near you.

If your car can go to SCC mode and put it to N, you can start lift the car to the TOW truck safely.  Strickly speaking, All Cars must be towed with the Wheel drive (usually Front) are off the ground. if it is All wheel drive, it has to be lifted completely or the Differential will be ruined.
