Spare wheel

I want to get a spare wheel for 18" wheels.

The Toyota kit I have been given details of comes with a new deck board. Do I need this.

Yes you do as the seats taper back the deck depth is shorter when the boot floor is raised to a mid deck.

Hi I don't think will need a new deck board I brought my spare wheel kit for 2.0 GR SPORT separately as the kit is not available for my model from Toyota it cost me about £250. The parts you will need a bellow for 1.8 CHR I don't think you will need a new deck board I would try speaking to you dealership parts department it might be cheaper ordering the parts separately than buying a spare wheel kit from Toyota

1.8 hybrid costs more to retrofit a spare wheel to as you need to raise the boot floor upwards to the same level as the 2 litre hybrid.

Thanks for the answers. I researched the Toyota web site and the only deck board available is for my car is the  one quoted in the kit.

Does anybody know by how much the boot floor is raised.

Hi it will raise about 2 inches. It is roughly level as the boot opening. Or if you your dealership as 2.0 CHR  ask to have a look at the boot as that is same boot space you will get if you fit a spare wheel kit

I did not change the deck board in my 2 litre. Dealersaid that you only need the new deck board for a 1.8.
