Interior blower for demisting windscreen only works on full

Hi I'm looking at buying a 2013 Aygo, the interior blower for demisting the windscreen only works on full and doesn't come on until it hits no. 4. Is this an expensive problem. Thanks

Blower motor only working on setting 4 will most likely be the heater resistor pack, it's a common symptom on many different vehicles.

Your likely to be advised to start a thread of you own by the admin but here's a link to how to do the job if your inclined to DIY it'll be cheap if not you'll be paying labour charges in the main:-

Just to confirm what Derek details above, it's a common problem on the Mk1 cars, heater resistor with giveaway being only position 4 works and one those jobs where the labour/time costs outway the part cost.
