Prius Gen2 (2007) - High RPM fluttering noise from ICE: Catalytic Converter failing and/or exaust system clogging?

Hi everyone,

As a recent owner of a 2007 Prius (Gen2) with 220,000km I noticed the following noise: A fluttering noise coming from the engine bay right side (passenger side in europe, driver side in the UK). I searched the interweb and found the video below. The owner of the Prius in the video solved the problem by changing the Catalytic Converter. However, the only symptom I have in my Prius is the noise, so far no performance issues or errors. However, because I have driven a Prius before or have not ridden often in one, I have no idea if this noise is normal or not.
Anybody have experience with a Catalytic Converter failing and what symtoms they observed?
