3 Year MapCare

I bought a new Prius Excel in 2020 and I have just purchased 3 Year MapCare.  Initially on my purchased items on my Toyota Portal this showed as "Inactive".  I asked via the help email whether this was a problem and they said it was as it would expire and I would lose my map updates that I paid for.  I asked how I could change this and they sent me information that didn't seem to answer the question.  Now, having checked again it is shown as "Active".  My question is, do I need to do anything else to guarantee I get the map updates I paid for?
