I have been having similar issues. Was unable to type my password when the passanger tried. When I could login it behaves as if I was connecting forthe first time. QR code appeared and used my phone to finish the setup.

Even when I had that profile cannot be synced screen I was able to charge an warm the car as per schedule.

Yes, it's a little rough around the edges. My car is most certainly associated with my Toyota account, and it shows up as one of three Toyotas I've owned in the MyT app. But that option to scan the QR code / use the MyT app to link the car to my account still shows up. Maybe it's there for multiple users who want to use your car with their copy of the MyT app on their phone.

I’ve emailed them about this as well. Will update here if I get a reply

I've had a couple of emails happily informing me that I've received my charging card through the post. No such card has passed through my letterbox.

You say that your car has forgotten you 😥

Instead of all these techy suggestions, have you sent it a Christmas card this year?

Maybe a call now and again, just to ask it if everything is all right may help.

Cars can be quite easily offended if you don't communicate on an emotional level, and throw a strop.

Maybe it suspects you are having an affair with a Honda.

😂 Aye Bob, just how in the name of all that's holy, can cars that cost between 50 and 100 grand be left on the hard shoulder with the bonnet up, while my near 20 year old Toyota goes sailing past.

Then again, I ain't a footballer.

Paul, I think those that own them have masochistic tendencys as they obviously enjoy breaking down and getting a kick at the size of the bill. It's a bit of a unfortunate name to call it range It ain't got one.

There the ones that frequent unmarket pubs on a Sunday lunchtimes and wouldn't dream of having a Sunday roast for less then £50 a head just isn't done old chap.😋

Yerss, not Sunday I know, but went to a nearby village today with two old friends.

They were doing an early Christmas dinner for £7.50 for the main course, very nice too.

The total bill for the three of us was £44.20 including wine, Cider for compo, and two trifles.

There was even a cracker apiece.

Compo pulled up in a ssangyong something, designed in the dark I think.

But one has to be forgiving and understanding of non Toyota car choices, so we still welcomed him , despite his ignorance.

Right,we'd best desist from derailing this thread with epicurean and range rover discourse before we are in trouble.🤐

I had a reply from Toyota yesterday: "We are experiencing a few intermittent issues with account access on the latest multimedia systems, this is being actively looked into with a solution already in the works." However, the MyT app is still not working this morning.

Same problems and more. It started by not syncing and now the shift key on the display only works internittently so frustrating trying to enter a p/w. Today, the rears n/s passenger dood has stopped unlocking. Where are you reporting these issues to?

The MyT and infotainment sync ones I’m reporting to mytoyota@toyota.co.uk

I think for your door your going to have to report to dealer. I’d check a couple of things first though

1. Is child lock on

2. Check the configuration for door locking, see below. An O in A means it can be changed in the car settings

Silly question about the shift key problem: has the protective foil film been removed from the display? My dealer forgot to remove it - so if there's a little orange dot in one corner it means it needs to be carefully peeled off.

Thanks Malop, I tried the rear door lock and found that if it is locked from the inside using the handle, the central locking will not release it. The other side works correctly, so maybe I need the dealer to sort it as you say

The MyT app is now stuck in a demented log-in log-out loop.

I log in, it shows me the car, I press any button and then it logs me out.

Super....

I’ve had this soon after owning the PHEV. I think maybe a server issue but in the end a deleted the app, reinstalled and log in OK.

I think this is more likely to be a server issue as I am also unable to log into the My Toyota website.

On a perhaps related matter, this is the last thing you need to see when driving on a main road.

Over the past few days, the car kept popping up this dialog box. I relented in the end by entering my very long password, but this isn't the kind of display you want to see whilst driving.

This is getting to be quite annoying now. I've had to enter my long password three times now to get rid of this popup. It's really dumb because it can pop up several times during a relatively short journey. I'm not a goldfish! I don't need to be reminded of this every few minutes. I had it the other night when I was reversing into a tight parking spot at the end of a journey. Infuriating.

After several weeks of failing to log into the MyT app and experiencing the same problem as Mike, and with Toyota's app gurus unable to help, I found that the workaround has been to create a new MyT account with a new email address and link that to the car. I can now use the MyT app, but cannot delete the original default account (email) associated with the car because that will still not sync. The annoying popup has, however, disappeared and I have asked the MyT support guys to delete the original corrupted account.

Ahh have you guys no pity for Toyota, they’re getting on a bit now in years and maybe Alzheimer’s is setting in. 🤣😂🚘
