Raised False Floor

I’m still waiting for delivery of my Yaris Cross Design.  I realise that this particular model doesn’t have the raised false floor in the boot and Toyota do not supply it as a dealer fitted order.  However, it’s something that would appeal to me as I hate possessions taking up valuable floor space.  The extra raised height of the floor wouldn’t bother me.  I was wondering if any present owners could let me know if the boot carpet could be used as a template to create an MDF or similar wooden false floor and line it up with the existing rim fittings.  If this isn’t possible, I was thinking of buying a Toyota approved upper rubber mat which is designed for the false floor and could be used as the template instead.  Ideally, I would prefer to use a bespoke shelf from Toyota or other reputable company but don’t know if and when it would be available.  Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
