If I easily have a spare £5k extra I would probably go the the YC instead of the Yaris. The YC has heated seats and steering wheel which the normal one don't have as option. It would sort out the practicality issue I sometimes have carrying 4 people in the car with luggages for a week's holiday in the UK. 

It will be less agile than the Yaris and will feel underpower with a full load (for me). It does have more space, that is the point of the YC for me, as well as elevated seat position and better viewing angle than the Yaris I have read.
