im lookin to buy a starlet gtt and just wanna know abit of info first

what are they like on fuel?

how easy is it to get parts?

and any other relavent info you think i should know b4 gettin one :bookworm:

There are alot of aftermarket parts for the Starlet GTT so that will be no problem.

Which one are you looking at the EP82 old style or the newer (96 on) EP91.

Both are good on fuel, even thougth they are turbo charged they still only use 1.3 engines. Off boost economy will be great.

Body and mechanical wise they are very reliable, as already said there is load of aftermarket parts available, although there will be a shortage of large parts (such as engine) and some of the more different body panels from the glanzas.

Pretty much like any JDM car that wasn't released in the UK. Usual car stuff applies to them when you go for a look. Smoke from exhaust etc.

Get a quote on insurance first

Insurance costs is probably the biggest reasons why a lot of Starlet Turbo owners only have the car for a year or so.

who is the best insurance to go with on a gtt

bearing in mind im 19.

im paying £830 fully comp on a modded nova 1.3sr

dis the ep91 the rounder shape like the glanza?

Posted

If you want the EP91 shape in turbo then your gona have for a glanza or be VERY lucky and find an EP91 that has had the turbo conversion, otherwise its the older EP82 Starlet Gt.

Im guessing that the insurance is gona be alot :(
