RAV4 PHEV - low beam adjustment

Guys, I noticed my low beam is very low, it's so low that it makes actually challenging to drive 100km/h on the motorway when it's dark without turning on high beam, there is a room for improvement for sure without blinding other drivers. I found this guide, but when I rotate the screw, nothing seems to be happening. The light cutout is not moving up or down. At this stage it's either me being stupid or something is not right here. Have anyone managed to adjust low beam in PHEV with success?

Same here, on a previous car (Nissan Pulsar) I actually preferred the halogen lights as the cut-off want so severe. It's a balance between seeing where you're going and not dazzling cars coming the other way.

I managed to adjust mine after watching a similar video.

it did take quite a few turns of the plastic nut  to make any difference but it’s much better now and nobody has flashed me.

Had another go and the difference is literally day and night after the adjustment. Do yourself a favour and give it a try 😎

The plastic screw is used for left / right adjustment where the metal on is up / down. Both can be adjusted with a thick Phillips screwdriver.

Also make sure the wall you are looking at is a good 8-10 meters away from the car, otherwise the feedback will be too small and you won't know what you are doing.
