Welcome/entry and ambient lights

Hi. I haven’t seen any pics when dark outside. How is the welcome/entry lights outside and how is the ambient lighting inside?

The welcome lights are nice but I would prefer the headlights to come on when you unlock the car. They are only useful when you're close to the vehicle. I like having the headlights turn on when walking to the car. 

The ambient lighting is fine when you get in after unlocking, but unless I'm an idiot (highly plausible) they don't run when the vehicle is powered up and in motion. Only the screens are lit up. The lights in the doors etc turn off at that point. I've looked at the manual but I'm happy to be corrected if they can indeed be turned on while the car is in motion.

Ok. Nice. Are the welcome lights coming down from the side mirrors or the handles?
