Yaris Aerial

Hi,

I was wondering if someone has any details about the antenna for a Yaris Mk2 2008 (XP90). A branch of a tree recently broke my antenna but I don´t see any page where I can find it.

Any guess where to find the good reference?

I've got eBay ones before, usually because I needed a shorter one to fit under the garage door.

They are usually generic and come with a few fittings for different cars (different metric threads).

They are cheap so filter for UK (or you could be waiting weeks) and pick a couple that look OK for your needs. Then see if they work for you.

My eBay history says they can't find the one I bought for my Mk3, but this one has the same picture, description and supplier, so likely the same one:

This is shorter than the OEM one.

If the OEM is a 'circular' aerial then compatibility shouldn't be a problem as long as the thread size can be matched. I had a non-Toyota before with a profiled OEM aerial (like a narrow wing) but no problems using a 'circular' one instead. (Again to clear the underside of the up-and-over garage door.)

This one is fine for me but at £4.50 ish, delivered, if it doesn't work for you (due to odd reception area or something) just order another different one.

One of these works well on my Mk 1. You can set it to different lengths, I used the default out of the pack.
