This is a dim question, apologies in advance- I brought a second hand Aygo and it didn’t come with any alloy locking nut keys.

Am I right I’m thinking there’s no locking bolts on these wheels? They look different to my Yaris which did have one on each wheel, just not sure if I’m being dim! Photo attached!

Blimey those are rusty... are those the original wheelnuts?? The ones on my Yaris were far shinier even after 17 years!!

They look like normal ones tho', definitely not the Toyota security bolts, which have a pattern carved into the top which has to match the key.

If it did have security bolts, I suspect someone lost the key and had them replaced with regular ones after getting them drilled out...

Lol, these are wrong ones imo. Best to buy new one from Toyota and replace all bolts.

They are the bolts found on almost every Peugeot or Citroen.  So, they will probably be the standard Aygo fitment.

Just looked at used post facelift Aygos on Cazoo, and those with alloys have locking wheel bolts.

Get your self a set of Mcgard bolts, typical PSA wheel bolts

To be fair, I don't think Aygo alloys are in high demand for theft so you can probably get away with it, but for insurance reasons might be better to get a set just in case!

They don't seem too expensive - Halfords have them for around £30 for a set!

Theft of alloys was always in response to demand. As almost all cars nowadays come with alloys as standard the demand is not there any longer except for exceptional cases/circumstances.

McGards everytime for locking nuts / bolts.

They even do the Black edition for wheels requiring black locking nuts / bolts - Had a set on my previous Peugeot as that required black locking bolts.

These are also exact fit for cat plates on Auris and prius gen 3 👌🔩
