Aftermarket stereo to replace the touch

Can someone please confirm that I can just swap out the Toyota touch from my 2014 yaris and replace with a more up to date 2 din stereo, I've managed to find a company that does all the wires for steering wheel etc..

I haven't a clue, never been near a 2014 Yaris, don't know what a Toyota touch is. However in my early years, I used to fit aftermarket Stereos.

If you look at a manufacturer like Connects2 who provide accessories that aid the installation of aftermarket units, you'll find they produce facia adapters in either single or double DIN to fit the 2014 Yaris. They also produce DIN adapters ( as do Autoleads ) which connects Toyotas wiring to a universal DIN adapter found on almost every aftermarket unit as well as plug 'n play steering wheel adapters

So I'd say there's a very high probability the answer you're looking for is yes.

You can, but unless you can find the right surround it will look out of place, and they must make sure they get the right wiring and adaptor modules if you want to retain existing car features that are controlled on the head unit and steering controls.

It's not something many people seem to do so, presumably because it is a hassle, but if you go ahead, some pictures and a write up would be appreciated!
