Hello, I have 2009 Avensis Wagon with 340 tkm and it has a lot of wind noise in cabin when driving at speeds higher than cca. 80km/h. I am the first owner of the car and I do not remember being that loud before, noise is comming somewhere from A pillars. If somebody knows how to solve this problem, help please. Thank you

Hi, im thinkiing that the doors rubbers become hard by the time, not closing well like before. I think start with silicon sprey on all rubber parts, i would edd wraps of special door sponge arround the doors to make it close better against wind.it cpmes with 3M its easy to put.

You can use also kind of for house doors.

I had this when I bought my 2015 T27 Tourer. Above 50mph (80kph) there was a lot of extra wind noise, which seemed to be coming more from the left side of the car. All the windows were fully closed, and the rubber seals looked to be in good condition. Doing a Google search I found that the seals around the quarterlight windows (the small ones at the front of the front door, next to the wing mirrors) can cause this extra noise. So I placed insulation tape over the quarterlight seals on the left side and drove fast to test it. Sure enough, the extra wind noise was gone. My car is still under warranty (Toyota Relax) due to always being serviced by them, so they replaced the quarterlight seal for free and the extra wind noise was gone. So definitely try placing insulation tape over the rubber seals for each quarterlight in turn to identify if one or both are causing the extra noise.
