The diagrams are just a guide they use the same mountings - the diagrams of the bumper is for the 2nd facelift 2017-2020 (you don't need to drill anything with the kits you posted)

the cars are all the same 2012-2020 it's just the tailgate bumper and lights in the rear what are different, I'm surprised you haven't got a rear spoiler yet

Yes got it, on the back the installation is much more easier than the front

Ahah! You caught me! I was searching an adhesive spoiler, but it's about 100/150€...not worth it, just an exterior 'upgrade'..I'd rather save the money for a future (??) Pioneer with Apple car play

Page 37 and 38, steps 36 and 39

how should I install the kit I bought? I have only a red wire and a black wire, the black wire goes to step 34 to the ground, but the red one? Step 36 or 39?

otherwise I put the electromagnetic sensor at the rear, and at the front I buy the original kit https://www.ebay.it/itm/265538466213?hash=item3dd35371a5:g:gssAAOSwgmhiAUF9&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4PS5dnuBb4ACB%2BGY9gLK8p2n1NMdMBTJIzqO5s07KO2OY5jwgX%2BiT9y%2F9R3IH1qB80bU8chO5opCCso%2BCyeRBQdZxv7TE%2FoIRgXV7FLDyyPQOnW%2BDiUmDcyGDGJ%2BBjIwujFq1BG7LNcHaq1cL%2Fyxaz6NUL%2B5wuz3eO8rc2chqSdEnq77qdREEgcwCNoXaFfTGlsleNp48JikqY9V3EkiRIk1h98i5cyg6lULu%2BQ71nyQm2dZO%2BuIwufsslTSuJe4B2AFPvQTP%2F4wFP%2Ff%2FJEviZs1er3hE%2FeJa5SluslXZNK3%7Ctkp%3ABFBM1oGQ1Kph

The aftermarket just need a ground and a switch live - simple

So any +12v is good for the positive (with the electromagnetic sensor)

@flash22 just an info: what does the steps 36 and 39 mean? With an odometer and a +15 acc on/off?

Phone number for Fire Brigade here is 999.  While you are determined to completely cobble this job up you might familiarise yourself with your local Fire Brigade number.  911 in most countries.

Well, if a forum member knows things that he has already done I think it's ok to share the various info, that's how a forum works...if not, I will use my tools and find a 12v with a tester

you know, if a member have done a similar work, he can write 'hey, pick the green wire from the pin4 and that's it' rather than check every wire, that's the worry that I wrote before

anyway, I called the number, and they told me 'wooo congrats for have done auto folding mirrors, heated seats, double rear fog light, ambient lights with auto light sensor, for adding cruise control and auto light sensor and fixing the DLR headlights with new ones and dynamic direction light integrated, and with the car totally disassembled internally!'

115 here, wish you a happy new year 😉

So, the pin 1 is IG, the 17 is VSC (or vehicle speed) - 28 pin radio unit (I don't have the TAS500 but the TAS400)...I have to join my +12 to the IG (pin 1), the aftermarket has an on/off button that goes directly to the control unit

Yes that's the one

Dont see many tas400 as it was mainly an EU option (its a cut down version of the touch2) that's possibly why you had issues with the update

Dumb question: what happens if I join the +12v to the PIN number 17 (VSC)? With the button switched ON, I'll have the sensor working only under 5kph, right?

Nothing, VSS is a 5v PWM signal

So it won't work

little last question: what does the '+15' means near the light green pin1 'ACC' on the installation manual?

Sorry, but on the 27th step I see a probe that pass through the rubber cap (to cut)...I have cutted the rubber cap, but internally it has no holes inside to pass the probe!

in the car I see no way to let the probe pass from that hole in 27th stepBF55B915-1386-4D43-B2B8-8A4DDDDF7C24.thumb.jpeg.697cdf7bdc05b84afece2c05419f64b9.jpegCFD2FD81-AE93-4963-9430-41679F91746B.thumb.jpeg.bde086399e8b215ac672bbe37d26326f.jpeg15D18054-D2BC-401B-ADF5-75A3674AC3BD.thumb.jpeg.ecf455136b94ba5074a91d5fce5eafff.jpeg42E429A8-0DB2-4639-B906-D1D56EF7C534.thumb.jpeg.1b8e3f9b8e4f78b37e56d653bce84460.jpeg9954D354-F811-49AC-8D48-DAD480A77B0E.thumb.jpeg.f0464318bfdaffe85f36035b1d26b138.jpeg

i think I'll make a little hole to get the probe through, really cramped space to work

The rubber on the right (2nd pic down) should be a rubber plug, give it a pull

Solved, I've done a hole with a screwdriver, passed through the probe and the antenna wiring..now I have to join everything and then same (easier) job to the rear bump

Put a pair of decent high and low tone horns on while you’ve got the front off.

These days the only time my horn gets used is at MoT time. In the last few decades I can only think of a couple of times I've needed it, as opposed to just wanting to vent, which I've come to realise is a pointless exercise. Simpler to just see what stupidity is about to happen and avoid it, rather than getting involved in 'asserting my right-of-way' or whatever. If I've got time to hoot then I've got time to avoid.

But I was young and impatient once, and fitted an air horn on my first car to warn others of my approaching stupidity. I'm embarrassed for myself in hindsight 😖
