I never use it.  I use mainly normal or occasionally PWR to pass something.  Overtaking must be carefully planned.  The car is quick off the mark but then runs out of steam.

Fair summary.  I haven't looked to  see what the runout speed is but on a B road from a truck doing about 40 I was at 60 as I got passed.

In contrast, with a 1.8 Corolla on a dual carriageway and passing a truck at about 55 I was approaching 80.

"just doing a test drive Sir, didn't realise it was that fast"

I did similar when I first got my (1.3, series 3) Yaris. Caught a mimser, pootling along at 40 In an NSL, clear road, so I dropped it into third. Did you know they'll do an indicated 80 in third when you hit the rev limiter?

In theory perhaps. But if you press harder to get the performance you want ... probably not.

(In BEVs Eco will often restrict the A/C-Heating, so you'll get less comfort, but not sure if Toyota hybrids do that.)

If you really want economy you need to learn how to drive economically (and leave the HVAC off all the time). All these 'modes' are just nudging you in the direction of the label, mainly by altering the responsiveness of the right pedal - they aren't 'real'.

Agree with MikeSH, except that generally it's not a good idea to leave the HVAC off for extended periods- see for example https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/advice/car-maintenance/air-con-myths-busted/ , so just go easy with heating or cooling
