DRL’s issue?

Could someone do me a favour and check if the DRL’s come on when you switch the car to ‘ready’ mode but haven’t moved yet?

I’m sure mine used to be all the time..

They only come on when the handbrake goes down when selecting D. If you start without moving off they stay off.

In Corolla 2019 -> this might be an option to choose via car settings. Best each Corolla owner to check in settings and car manual. If the op had his settings with drl on when the car is in ready mode and in P after a Battery drain the ecu can reset its settings and change this particular option to default settings. Just my thoughts, no Corolla with me to check. 👍

Thanks for this, mine is the same, was sure they used to come on when the car was switched on but not moving, must have imagined it!

No worries Nick,

They’re all the same (apart from the Aygos) you can hear a faint click in mine when the lights come on.
