Hello,

I have a 2004 Corolla E120 hatchback.

I live in Ireland and we are kmh here, my car is a UK import.

Is there a recognised Toyota compatible plug in speedo anyone knows of, rather than satnav based?

If anyone has driving instructor experience I'd be interested in comparing notes.

I'm hoping to use the car for lessons. Its in good shape but I think the MPH being displayed so prominently might cause issues.

There are a few options; You can get an insert that covers the mph graph and replaces it, but you need to get the dash out to put it in.

An easier option might be those displays that plug into the ODB2 diagnostic port that shows the speed, rpm etc.; You could even use an ODB2 app on your phone and a bluetooth ODB2 dongle to minimize trailing wires.

The dongle sounds interesting, the ODB plug in is what I had in mind, I will give the app a try first though.
