2008 RAV4 - weak points?

I have a 2008 DCAT since new, 210k km. For some years out of official Toyota servicing, since they failed 3x to solve the common “white smoke” problem and asked a fortune (T price) to replace DPF. It now goes to my trusted Indy who is not a Toyota specialist.
We’ve just done 1500 miles to Pyrenees and back, and I’m increasingly sure it needs a new wheel bearing. (Had one several years ago). There is also an occasional “click” in the steering, not sure if that’s the bearing or something else. The brakes don’t feel great but maybe as my other car has good brakes which were recently perfected!

Anything which is known to age on these cars that he could do at the same time? Had new shocks a couple of years ago. Engine seems ok but it’s now spitting more out of the header tank, which I know is a Symptom of That Which Must Not Be Named; I’m going to try a new cap first.  Otherwise, known belts, corrosion points (no salty roads here), other particular things that wear out?

In the UK I’d buy a new car but here it’s still worth over 10k so worth repairing a bit longer, as I wait for BEVs to evolve further.  The car generally is great to drive, for what we want.
Thanks for any particular heads up.

My second RAV was a 2006 Mark 3. Occasionally the steering clicked on turning the steering wheel. At its next service they said that one of the steering mounts on the steering column  had become loose causing the intermittent click  They said it was a common problem.

Has the bubbling in the header tank due to the blown cylinder head gasket problem at just under 3 years Toyota repaired it but 1 year later occurred again requiring a replacement engine.
