So im now driving a yellow fiat panda :!Removed!:

Finally got my alternator out (not an easy job) and had it tested,

its completely burnt out :(

so an exchange unit (£85) is on its way but i wont get it till monday

I hate not having my car.

mate I have just posted exactly the same thing...I went on holiday for ten days come back and when I started the car up there was a plume of white smoke from the alternator...the belt had snapped and the alternator was completely seized...got a brand new replacement today for £140 and fitted...took ages to get the old one out and new one in tho...
