I have airbag light popped up and it will not clear. Car has no history of accidents and nothing was tinkered with either.

Anyone able to get me a wiring diagram for airbag system so I can chase it up or any other way to diagnose it?

Any help much appreciated.

I've Never tinkered with airbags in my life. Only thing I know is to disconnect the Battery and wait 10 minutes before touching any airbag related components.

I had the same problem on my 2011 Auris. It's a common problem. It's caused by a poor contact in a yellow wiring connector under the seat at the front of the seat. You can temporarily fix it by wiggly the connector. The warning light will not show when you next turn on the car. I permanently fixed it by disconnecting it & spraying the contacts with electrical contact cleaning fluid.

Here's a post from priuschat.com:  Today I found my wife’s prius had the airbag light on all the time. Pulled the code as B1826. First pulled out passenger front seat (4 bolts, 3connectors). Then, for each under- seat connector I disconnected, sprayed in contact cleaner, and reconnected. Reassembled and light was still on. Did same thing on driver seat. Light went out. All is good now. Vehicle is at 147 k miles, July 2020.

Thank you for that. Appreciate your response. I shall give that a go.

I think B1826 means it's the left hand side i.e. under the passenger seat in the UK, hence the priuschat solution was for the driver's side in the US.

Mines showing as left side too, which for me means passenger side in UK.
