No 'pdf' but it does have a DPF - known as a DPNR in Toyota speak. The 2.2 D-CAT is blessed with a full set of emissions control add-ons including the fifth injector, EGR and DPNR which works extremely well in terms of emissions reduction.

Thanks Philip sorry for my dyslexia. In that case what's the best way to unblock it. Any help would be appreciated as l getting a lot of smoke on motorway and in town or is this self generation.

Oh dear ... are we talking of "white smoke" here? A normal DPF regen should not produce significant amounts of smoke. White smoke tends to be unburnt diesel and indicative of an issue with the fifth injector ...

If you do a search on this forum for "white smoke" you will find many posts with advice, sometimes conflicting, on how to address the problem.
