Yaris Cross Smart Connect - does it show much heavy traffic?

Just wondering what other people's experience of the traffic delay warnings on the connected satnav is like. Today the M3 was closed and there was mayhem on some of the local roads. My satnav showed the M3 closure but... nothing else. Literally, nothing else in our area, whereas Google Maps was a sea of red routes. 

Bonus question - is there any way of getting a list of traffic incidents on the current route, not just the red/amber road on the map? I thought I had stumbled across it once, but must have imagined it because I went through every possible button press today.  I hope someone can point out the obvious I'm missing!

Thanks for this real world comparison of the Smart Connect OTA traffic advice with what you can get from your phone. Makes me think that downgrading the Excel to the 8" system to get 360 deg view and parking assist wouldn't have been a bad choice after all.

I think there is, but for the life of me I can't remember and might be confusing with Touch 2 Go

Possibly not. However, my wife has a Corolla with the older system. Strangely her complaint is that it is constantly warning her of queues which simply don't exist.  It is almost as though Toyota have gone from being over-sensitive of traffic conditions to under-reporting them on the new system 🤣
