2007 Auris : Auto lights (headlights) sensitivity

Hi 

I find that my auto headlights sensitivity is not as sensitive as i would like it to be ... ie as it gets darker its takes longer to come on.
I would like it to come on ealier when its not too dark at night. Hope that makes sense 🙂

Is there a way to change or adjust the sensitivity settings of the auto headlight settings ?

Yes, just turn the lights ON manually 👌

I don’t think you can change these settings, perhaps check the light sensor is clear of any obstructions and windshield is clean too.

Remove the light sensor cap, and paint it darker 🙂

Anyway you can experiment with it. Light sensor cap is under the windshield, there are 2 tiny caps sticking out, you will see it.

Not sure which one is for lights, so put something over it, and see if lights turn on.

In spite of having this function, I have never used it. I will decide when the lights are on and use the switch provided!
