It will be a 2023 if it’s not in production yet.   Technically there was no 2022 model so the 2021 got some minor revisions for 2023.  Your Excel will get Nanoe x and sill protectors.

It's not really a filter, it's more like an air ionizer... but fancier

Correct.  To my knowledge that went with the Premier edition.

There’s nothing on mine.  That went with the Premier and Dynamic options.  I quite liked it.  There is an accessory version but the jury is out in that. Can’t decide if it’s a bit blingy.

Missing on those too in the UK. It was just some EU regions which got them factory fitted.

Front protectors are available as an accessory in a couple of styles. I've only seen third-party offerings for the rear.

We seem to be the poor relation when it comes to kit.  Corolla Cross is out in just about every other region but us with a sparkly new trade deal with Japan, nope.

TBH I'm slightly surprised we've gotten what we do get - Now we're out of the EU, manufacturers need to go through a separate UK-specific homologation process to bring cars in here; Given we're a relatively small market and right-hand drive, I'm expecting the choice and range of new cars we get to drop as they feel it's not worth the hassle and expense to do so.

I’m not in R&D any more but I doubt very much that absolutely anything has changed due to brexit.

if my yaris cross arrives at the dealer before 1st of march is there anything i can do to get a 23 plate ?

When it arrives at the dealer is not the issue, it’s the date of registration that determines the ‘plate’.

Of course, whether the dealer will agree to delay registering the car is between you and them .

As Graham says, just tell them you want to wait.  You might struggle if it rocks up this month - they might want you to cough up at least.

Seeing the amount of options for models they get , RAV 4 GR Sport, The new Prius (which looks sexy btw) , Corrola Cross..

The japanese one is even more painful!! :crybaby:

Fortunately I can't read japanese or I'm sure it would be worse, as I already know they can get things like 360 degree cameras, self-parking and AWD on the Mk4 Yaris... I don't want to know what else they can get!

I'm secretly hoping they decide to streamline the french plant so it only does LHD cars, and start sending us RHD cars made in japan so we can get all the cool stuff they get... :naughty:   Although this would also rely on Toyota UK getting a clue instead of removing all the cool stuff because they think they "aren't aligned with what the UK customer wants"....

That reminds me of the few occasions I have gone into a shop and asked why a certain product does not seem to be available. The reply is inevitably, "There's no call for that any more Sir". Err .... I am just calling for it! 😒

Absolutely! 👌

Been talking about that for ages now, if you visit Bulgarian or Greek even the Irish sites the depression is imminent 👍

does anyone know when Toyota updates their specifications for the coming models. eg ? when would they publish MY23.5 or MY24 model?

Hoping they can get a the 360 camera incorporated within the 9 inch multi-media screen

The 23 went into the price list about August but no details until much later in the year.   They’ve only recently started coming through.
