2005 Corolla E12 door rubber/seal

As the title says - I'm after a replacement door rubber/seal for the driver door on a 2005 Corolla hatchback (5dr). I've looked on eBay but can only find seals for all other doors except the drivers one. Any suggestions are appreciated.

A couple of years ago I couldn't find a door seal listed for an Aygo.

I did find on eBay a trader who supplied these seals by the metre, from memory he could supply door seal of all profiles. I've just found some of that seal in the original envelope with the sellers name still on it.

Exactly the same problem on ours, its where you rub against it when getting in and out, though you do not really realise you are catching it.

When we checked a couple of years ago it was about £120 from Mr.T  ( just the seal, no fitting)  other makers charge a fraction of that for theirs.

Also looked on eBay etc and did order some sample pieces which make out they are good for door seals but nothing close and tried to stick some O shapes onto the remaining bead but  no good.

Just left it as is, does not seem to affect anything, the seal on the door seems to cut out all the wind noise etc.

Seems this German supplier has what looks like the same seal, sold by the meter,  but of course it will not have the moulded top corner like a  complete Toyota seal.

Will try and measure it up for size and order 1 or 2 mtrs.

Not sure what value you can import free of any extra charges, though believe you do pay them the vat on the goods.

It might be worth seeing if it's come down at the dealer or if the forum sponsor who sells Toyota parts can sort you out; I remember they used to sell the drop links and CSCs for some of my previous Yarisusuesueies at insanely high prices (The CSC cost nearly the same as the rest of the clutch kit!)  but someone bought them in a thread last year and they were something like a third what I was quoted many years ago!
