The wide-boy kit is not cheap at all, if you want to add it to your two you'll need some serious cash in hand....

Would imagine IMOC the best place to source where you can get this kit from.

From memory it is not just bodykit to transform an MR2 into the true wideboy spec as proper wheel spacers etc will be needed and a few other sublte changes....

Why not cost it all up inc painting, new alloys, exhaust etc and then contact someone like Daie Motors and see how much they can find one to import for if your willing to wait.

your right on it not being cheap its !Removed! 6500 quid just to buy it :wacko:

What about the 355 conversion then... :P

Talking of mad conversions, check this from the auto trader site - can't seem to post a hot link to it!

Mazda MX-5, G reg.

MX-5 with Z3 bodykit, only 2 in existence, valued at over £10,000, exhibition car, cheap to insure, readily available parts, featured in BMW & Which mags, sports car looks at normal car price. £6,250.

:D :D

The 355 kit is a PITA as different companies end up making it at different times as Ferrari are pretty quick in closing down production, and at the end of the day the MR2 is not a Ferrari, waste of £20k + IMHO.

The WideBoy kit although a real head turner doesn't do much for the car in terms of longetivity as the spacer required for the wheels alone are massive which puts a huge strain on the car...
