Central locking will lock but not unlock

Hi

Can anyone help please, I have a Verso 2011 which has suffered intermittently with the central locking. it started a few years ago when all of a sudden the key fob and the drivers side 'open' buttons would not unlock the car. we took it into the dealer who rang us and said there's no fault locks are working perfectly. we picked the car up and it worked absolutely fine for a few years. it then happened again so I had a little play around with the driver door connections, thinking it may have loose wire or connector. I didn't fix it. a few weeks later it started working again and was ok for a few months. now it has given up all together. Ive tried changing the double lock door control and the driver door actuator unit but still not working.

when I push the unlock buttons I can hear relays and door locks trying to operate but appear 'stuck'. the boot works fine and the key disables the car alarm.

has anyone had same issues?
