Missing features in New Cross Hybrid 2023 in Dubai

Dear members,

I am going to buy corolla cross 2023 Hybrid here in Dubai, UAE, which I have booked and will arrive after 5 months "Hopefully".

I have opt. for full option variant, but even the full option variant misses few important features, like electronic hand brake, break hold, electronic seat adjustment.  Currently I am driving Civic 2017 which does have all these features and I am using them all time in my daily drive especially brake hold.
Does anyone know if by any chance I can add electronic handbrake and brake hold option in my car after I receive it? Like buying switch relay from Toyota which I can see is $135 and installing it from the garage.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Hi and welcome.
Here in UK we won’t get Corolla Cross at all for the moment therefore you been lucky to have what you got there 👍 If the car comes without electronic parking brake you can’t retrofit it because it is not just the switch , there are different callipers with actuators fitted to them, ecu, etc. Also this may invalidate any car warranty particularly on the brake system. I don’t think it’s worth doing any mechanical modifications on a brand new car.
