Hello all,

Wanted to ask a few questions about the Toyota Voxy (07 plate) petrol auto. See if anyone could answer.

1a) Has anyone removed the stereo head unit NHZN W57, if so, is it easy? What UK stereo fits in its place accomodating all the wires and functions inbuilt into the vehicle, gps, bluetooth, phone activation, service shedules etc.

1b) If refitting a UK stereo, can all the service maintenance interval program pages that are available on the NHZN W57 head unit be accessible? If not will it affect the ECU, cause the vehicle to go into limp mode if service schedules not reset?

2) Is the NHZN W57 reflashable with UK firmware, UK language? 

3) Is the smart key fob door entry able to be switched off? Read about other Toyota owners, holding the 'lock' symbol and at same time pressing the 'unlock' button twice and wait for four led flashes. Doesn't seem to work.

4) Is there a smart key start deactivation button in the car somewhere? 

5) Anyone had to pay a UK Toyota dealer to do this and if so how much?

As regards:

2). Usually Japanese Domestic Market multimedia units aren't able to be flashed for the UK market.

5). Doubt UK Toyota dealers would be interested - they won't have service information for models which were never officially exported to the UK.
