ok then as donnington is a big no no due to 20,000 two wheel idiots and not everyone being able to run there cars at pod (plus we are there 10th oct) how about meeting up at about 12:30- 1:00 at trowel services ( M1 southbound) then on to a local country park (small fee to park only couple of quid) then maybe a meal or somthing dep on weather.

gonna try my hardest to be there got a mechanic comming first thing in the morning to fix our other car(father in law drove into a flood! its been ill since) said shoudnt take long just a carb strip down he hopes.

Sorry to drop you guys at the last minute.

I spent the majority of last night in A&E in an excrutiating amount of pain :ffs: I'm now up to my eyeballs in painkillers (which are nice :D ) and been advised not to drive for a few days.

This will mean that I will probably be missing the MK thing this evening too :(

I have just got back from my emergency appointment with the dentist and they can't do anything until tomorrow soonest :ffs:

I will be making my way down to the MK cruise thing this evening. I will have Nicola as a passenger in case I suddenly feel worse for wear because of the pain killers then she can take over driving.

think we have found a good venue for future midlands meets.

started off at trowell services (me being the last to arrive at 12:30) where we stood in the carpark and had a chat for about 45 mins and took a couple of photos. then it was off to an eatery which when we got there was absolutely rammed with no parking spaces left. so a change of plan we headed to the Stensen Bubble (where the 200+ club have their monthly meet). good place for a meet as there is a large grass area across the road for parking cars on and the pub serves very good food at resonable prices.

thanks to all that turned up, kimi , richard k and sorted, it was a releif to see ppl turn up for the first meet ive arranged.

sorry guys i dint come as i went out the nite before(seems like it happens evry meet) was a mates 18th, and my cars standard and havent got the new one, but when ive got the new one ill be along glady!
