If you look at his other items for sale, he has a full airbag kit for a 2022 Aygo X.  So he must be breaking one !!

Around 800 - 1000 euro for 4 used tyres and rims. That would be a lot to pay to be able to buy 17 inch tyres that are 30 pound cheaper each. 😁

Nice if you want winter tyres later..

The alloys alone are £895 direct from Toyota, so the set he is selling WITH tyres, seems a bargain 😀

I wonder what I would have left, on the end of the bargain, if I sell my 18" original wheels with Michelin tyres..

And replace them by 17 inch steel wheels, covers, good tyres.

Probably not so much ?

If you did do that and did your sums correctly, you be lucky to break even.  You could advertise yours on here for  18" to 17" swap.  There will be someone out there with 17" and wanting to upgrade to the 18".

If steel rims, I think you'd make a fair amount - if my 15s are anything to go by, steel rims are pretty cheap still!

Sure. Steel, cause I don't care about alu or steel. Just want them round and strong.

17 inch cause that's the only other size allowed here and there is a wider choice of tyres.

But honestly, I couldn't be bothered too much. It's all not so important what wheels are on the car. Tyres won't cost half the price which would be the completely acceptable number.

I'd rather have a miracle change my traffic sign monitoring system and 9" multimedia change into something working perfectly. 😁

Did anybody do the maths, steel wheels for winter tyre set, 17 inch ?

4 of them of course....

Not so easy to find but i made a calculation.

Semperit and steel wheel (×4) was around 800 euro.

Same wheels with Michelin winter tyres (×4) was 1100 euro.

I'm gonna pass. 😅
