Is it an interference fit in the Cup Holder?

It doesn't fit in the cup holder slot, like the Chinese one I previously got.  It comes with a fitted mould of the whole rear consul and wraps around it and is secured with 5 screws.  Like the previous one I had, it does hinder access to the handbrake, but I can live with it and this one actually folds up out of the way.

Very good choice.  I did think of the Yaris Cross, but one of the main reasons for me changing, was downsizing in physical car size as well.  When I had my beloved Rav4 and sat it side by side to the Yaris Cross, there was not much of a difference in size 🥺

your option is the Armster 2 Armrest Black with pocket for £98.95, correct? easy to fit?

Yes VERY easy and has instructions with photos.  There are two different sizes of screws supplied in different packets.  Just be sure to read the instructions and use the correct set of screws in the right holes.

There are PLENTY of videos on YouTube showing installations.  The Arms are the same for every car, its the other part thats unique to the actual vehicle, I call it the mould, which fits around the rear of the middle consul, if that makes sense.

I have taken more detailed photos, but they exceed the permitted size to upload.  Funny, how some days, it rejects the photo due to its size and then on another day, it accepts the exact same photo 🤪
