2004 2.0 D4D injectors

Hi guys, I got a 2004 RAV4 with a blown turbo that conked out as a project, I stripped the rocker cover off to remove the injectors and 3 came out no problem (the exhaust gases were blowing past). The last one has been destroyed from various methods of extraction, do I need to get a replacement coded before I try starting it up?

Yes new Injectors need their compensation codes writing to the engine control unit

only if you have the 2 wires socket injectors version, you need to code the new injector. if you have the 4 wires version, not necessary.
