Retro fit sat nav

can anybody tell me if it is possible to fit a a sat nav unit out of a xt5 2005  into a 3 door xtr 2006 model and what cables etc i would nee thank you

The question is why would you, it's ancient technology, they don't make updates for, a paper map will be of more use

That. If you want originality you will go to a lot of cost and efforts for minimum functionality. If you have a free old nav unit I’d eBay it and use the money towards a modern unit with android/Apple mirroring. Or what I have done as I struggle to justify £400 on the car for this purpose: screwed an adjustable wireless charging phone cradle to the vertical strip beside the radio, and use Google maps on my phone.
